It's also really really important that you enjoy what you do. And at some points it will become pretty boring to just stand there alone for hours and hours freestyling. The best way to keep it fun is to freestyle with someone. If you are two freestylers it will always become more fun. You can take a break and joke around, you can challenge each other for a trick and just hang out while practicing.

Freestyle will actually improve your game as well, so if you're a footballer you might want to try some freestyle. It will help your eye co-ordination and first touch a lot. Also there is more things you will get from freestyling.
